Over Tortilla Soup at Max & Erma's
-I tried to think what the equivalent in SL is of the modern American kitchen since food is really not prepared and served in the virtual world. The nearest thing I could come up with, conceptually, would be an area for building with available seating within chat range for guests. Just something to consider when building SL "homes."
-Sculpted prims are the "plastics" of the modern era of SL building... They're going to produce wondrous new things. They're also going to produce a world of half-assed crap.
-In this new "Plastics Age" I feel "challenged." Ugh.

Over Scallops at Red Lobster
A lot of these brainstorms come to me during lunch as I peruse assorted art magazines. Many are brief, insignificant observations, but they strike me as profound at the time. Here's two.
-With it being so easy to create perfect shapes in SL, it is non-uniformity that is most striking.
-As primarily a ceramic artist and maker of real world objects, I find it vexing that I catch myself browsing artist magazines and thinking, "I could do that in SL."
